Why it matters

For a real transition to clean energy, renewable energy needs to be accessible at all times.

Approximately 80% of the world’s current energy supply comes from fossil fuels, with emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) exceeding 33 billion tonnes (Gt) per year, directly contributing to global climate change and affecting human health. There is an urgent need to decarbonise power systems and reduce pollution. A net zero electricity future cannot exist without the seamless integration of intermittent renewables and flexible storage solutions unlocking reliable and stable energy delivery. Using renewable energy sources, like wind, solar and hydro, enables one to become less dependent on the grid for energy consumption. However, renewable energy sources can be problematic and may not work all the time. Endua is looking to solve this problem, by building the next generation of clean energy storage for communities, industry and remote environments.

How it works

Powered by hydrogen, Endua’s breakthrough energy storage technology will deliver sustainable, reliable and cost-effective energy.

Endua design & manufacture decentralised power banks that store renewable energy for long periods of time and deliver power when required. Their small scale systems (10kW 150kW) are engineered to be a price competitive replacement for diesel generators. But they can also enable microgrids and standalone power systems to generate and store renewable energy cost-effectively for extended periods of time. This allows us to rapidly transition to renewable energy to power our homes, our transport, and our businesses. Addressing multiple market sectors; including telecoms, utilities, industrial loads, digital infrastructure, backup services, and community power; the global opportunity for Endua’s systems exceeds $500bn.

The WOW factor

The Wow Factor

Endua have pioneered new generation storage technologies that make long-term hydrogen power cost-effective against other renewable and fossil fuel-based sources. Key to the establishment of this venture was their partnerships with CSIRO - enabling Endua to access 15 years of research and development of world leading hydrogen technology and capability and, Ampol Australia, who will be their first channel to market via their 80,000 diesel customers nationally.
